As we all know, electronic products entering Taiwan must implement electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and safety (Safety) supervision, the supervision unit is the Bureau of Standards, Metrology and Inspection of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan, referred to as BSMI; In addition, low-power & telecommunications terminal products entering Taiwan areas will also be regulated by the Taiwan Communications Commission _National Communications Commission (NCC or Communications Commission)
This certification is briefly described below.
Ⅰ. Introduction to BSMI certification
①Regulatory unit: Bureau of Standards, Inspection and Inspection (BSMI), Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan, mainly supervises electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and safety (Safety).
②There are three types of authentication modes: :(according to the CCC Code, the corresponding authentication mode)
-Authenticated Login (RPC)
-Type Approval (TABI)
-Declaration of Conformity (DOC)

Method of Drawing Certification Mark and Registration Number
1. This drawing is regulated according to the Regulations Governing Commodity Inspection Mark.
(1) Drawing Method of the Certification Mark:
(2) There is no size restriction on the Mark, but the Mark shall be affixed to the body of the product in appropriate proportion (please see mark in grid).
(3) The obligatory inspection applicant shall use non-degenerate materials to print/produce the certification mark, which shall be affixed to each product in a visible, legible, indelible and immovable manner.
(4) The affixing of other markings on the product, which are likely to mislead or confuse the consumers or the third parties, shall be prohibited.
(5) The Certification Marking along with the registration number must be affixed to the body of the product. However, if the product is too small to accommodate the Mark, the Certification Mark along with the registration number shall be affixed in accordance with the following ways.
─If the product has its packaging, it shall be affixed to its smallest package.
─If the product has no packaging or it is not appropriate to affix the Mark on the packaging, it may be attached to the product by hang tags.
─If the ways of affixing to the packaging and hang tags are not appropriate, it shall be put inside the packaging.
─ther ways approved by the BSMI.
The Certification Mark should be affixed at a conspicuous location on the product in order for the consumers to identify it when they buy and/or use the product.

Ⅱ.Introduction to NCC certification
①Regulatory unit NCC: Taiwan Communications Commission mainly supervises low-power & telecommunications terminal products
② NCC approved module certification (the whole machine is based on the module contain ID)

③NCC Logo Identification Requirements
The following rules are specifically set out for the use of the logo:
Grid scale drawing: suitable for large advertising billboards and signboards, and cannot be correctly depicted using the original manuscript system or enlargement.
Baseline: Prevents the sign from being skewed and deformed.
Minimum use specification: When the logo is applied, it may have a blurry adverse effect due to shrinking, so in order to ensure the integrity and reproducibility of the logo, try not to be less than 15mm when using.
1.In accordance with the provisions of Article 16 of the Technical Specifications and Verification Measures for Telecommunications Terminal Equipment.
2.The fixed size is not specified, and the appropriate (square) proportional size should be labeled or printed on the appropriate position of the equipment body.
3.If the body is too small to be marked, it should be marked on the smallest unit of packaging.
4. This verification mark is attached to the product in accordance with the regulations, and its color is single, which must be clear and easy to identify.

The mandatory list of WWAN routers will be removed from January 1, 2024
The WWAN router is not in the scope of the BSMI mandatory list, and only needs to obtain the NCC certificate, so you do not need to use the BSMI logo
For example, WWAN laptops do not need to apply for BSMI certificates, and only need to obtain NCC certificates, but do not need to use BSMI logo
