Brazil ANATEL published 3 Acts about 5G NR. They are Act 3151，Act 3152，Act 3153. The main content is about the test standards of 5G NR, allows 5G NR to be approved and commercialized. The 5G NR frequency bands are the same as 3G and 4G - B1/2/3/5/7/8/28/38/39/B40；

Frequency bands of 3.5GHz (B48/77/78) is under public consultation till 31st July.

As there’s no lab in Brazil has the 5G NR capability currently, ANATEL accepts 5G NR test reports from abroad labs of ILAC members which are issued within 2 years. 

BTL is approved by CNAS, and has equipped test facilities for G NR. BTL can issue test reports with CNAS & ILAC joint marking for Brazil ANATEL approval.

Affected by the COVID-19, ANATEL published the Official letter no 384/2020/ORCN/SOR-ANATEL which informed to extend the scope of renewal without sample on 22nd June, 2020. Previously, the scope of renewal without sample is for ANATEL certificates expired between 3/6 and 6/30, which now 3/6 to 9/31. That means ANATEL certificates expired before 9/31 can do the renewal without sending samples.
