Is the manual ready? EU has new requirements for restrictions on 5G Wi-Fi products
Commission Implementing Decision (EU) 2022/179 of 8 February 2022 on the harmonised use of radio spectrum in the 5 GHz frequency band for the implementation of wireless access systems including radio local area networks and repealing Decision 2005/513/EC. Decision (EU) 2022/179 expands scenes to be used for 5G RLAN, such as expanding indoor use to trains and road vehicles, 5G B1 also opens up limited outdoor use, and so on.

(EU) 2019/320 requirements will be mandatory from 17 March 2022
The Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/320 activates Article 3.3(g) of the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) 2014/53/EU. It requires smartphone vendors to ensure that the smartphone must support the function of accessing emergency services in order to sell devices on the European market, from March 17, 2022.

European Union (EU) 2019/320 regulations will be soon effective
The European Union (EU) Regulation 2019/320 activated Article 3(3)(g) of the Radio Equipment Directive (RED) 2014/53/EU. Mobile device vendors are required to demonstrate compliance with Galileo satellite, Wi-Fi and AML (Advanced Mobile Location) to facilitate selling devices on the European market from March 17, 2022.

Household appliances EMS standard update, what changes?
CENELEC released EN IEC 55014-2:21 in this year. It replaces EN 55014-2:2015 as the new EMS test standard for small household appliances.This standard has not yet been published in OJ, The manufacturers can choose according to their needs.

The UK Government has released updated guidance for UKCA marking recently. From January 1, 2021, the UKCA logo will be officially applied immediately. Most products currently subject to CE mark will have to be affixed the UKCA mark if they are to be exported to the UK market (England, Wales and Scotland).
